Toronto, thank you for an amazing weekend! The Cannabis Life Conference was a huge success, but it wouldn’t have been possible without the keynote speakers, panelists, exhibitors, and every single one of you who attended.

It was a jam-packed weekend of networking, learning, and cannabis, and after all the hi’s and highs is the inevitable comedown- but that’s only because we’re sad that it’s over.

It was great to meet so many people interested in medicinal cannabis and there were some truly educational experiences had by all- whether you were cannabis curious or a chronic connoisseur (chronnoisseur?).

Highlights from the event include retired NFL Running Back, Heisman Trophy winner, and keynote speaker Ricky Williams, who delivered a fascinating presentation on how cannabis helped him deal with the wide-ranging injuries and pain he sustained during his football career. He was famously suspended multiple times and forced to pay millions of dollars in fines after testing positive for marijuana and therefore violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy, and he has claimed that he may be the “world record holder for most times drug tested” at over 500 times.

Given a recent survey that found 87% of former and current NFL players believe the league should allow players to explore medicinal cannabis as a pain-relieving option, Ricky’s presentation and story was particularly timely.

The compelling panel topics included something for everyone, ranging from navigating the legal system, CBD and THC best practices, sex, exercise and recovery, applications in cancer treatment, lifestyle and creativity, raising capital in the cannabis industry, and edibles.

Exclusive video of the panels and other interviews from Cannabis Life Network are coming soon. Stay tuned!
