Dabfest Raises Thousands For Cannabis Causes

This weekend’s Duncan Dabfest was a huge success, according to organizer Annissa Warner.

Warner said the second medical cannabis trade show raised $1250 for the Cannabis Rights Coalition and $600 toward the legal fund for raided Edmonton dispensary MACROS.

“I think we had almost 500 people go through the doors,” said Warner. “We had 40 vendors and I could have easily had another 10 to 15 vendors in the space.”

Warner, who thanked her daughter Shelby for her help with the event, said she is already planning another Dabfest, but has yet to confirm a date.

“We will continue having Dabfests and we hope to take the event to cities all across Canada in the very near future,” said Warner. “Dabfest is about bringing Cannabis businesses and entrepreneurs together and to bring our industry into the mainstream.”
