The 14th annual Emerald Cup is going down December 9-10, 2017, and this year promises to be bigger and more important than ever as Northern California rebuilds from the devastating wildfires of October.
The Emerald Cup will be the first major event held in Santa Rosa since the wildfires, and the event organizers are committed to fundraising on behalf of those who lost their homes and livelihoods in the flames.
This year’s Emerald Cup is also set to be the last where recreational cannabis sales are illegal in California, so come next year, you can look forward to enjoying the outdoor medicating section even if you’re not a medical marijuana patient.
The Emerald Cup will be a jam packed weekend of live glass blowing, industry leading speakers, America’s best strains competing against each other, and musical performances from The Roots, Hieroglyphics with Del the Funky Homosapien, Chali 2na, Gramatik, Portugal. The Man, and more.
You don’t want to miss out!
If you’re interested in competing in the cup, the deadline has been extended to Nov. 17, and you can enter here.
Of course, CLN will be attending again as last year’s event was so awesome. For our recap of 2016’s Emerald Cup, click here, and also make sure to check out our interviews with Damien Marley and Dj Short.
