Two Drivers Charged With Trafficking In Clarenville

Two separate traffic stops occurred in Clarenville, which resulted in marijuana trafficking charges. The RCMP issued a press release on Sunday saying that General Duty investigators from the Clarenville Department pulled over vehicles in Georges Brook and Hillview overnight and an unnamed amount of cannabis and cash were seized..

The two people being charged are a 41-year-old man from Clarenville and a 22-year-old man from Sunnyside. Both men are being charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession for the Purpose of marijuana trafficking.

These two investigations were not related, but both of these men are to appear in court next month in Clarenville.
