No sewing, No staples!

While N95 and medical-grade face masks are definitely best saved for use by health care providers when we have to venture out for groceries or a quick jog around the block, stay safe with this quick and easy DIY face mask!

Courtesy of Cannabis Life Network Japan correspondent Cheddar, this project utilizes items regularly found around your own home including:

  • a paper napkin – 16cm by 16cm
  • 2 elastic bands – we made ours out of gauze
  • a twist tye
  • transparent tape
  • a tissue or Kleenex

Through some simple folds, tape applications, and some creative ingenuity, one can quickly put together a 5-10 minute long DIY face mask, that will couple perfectly with your social distancing techniques.

It is important to note that this is a quick, easy, and more importantly disposable mask – as once the mask is worn, it is contaminated. Luckily, being made with such easy to acquire household items, making another one is easy enough, and will give you the opportunity to improve your skills!
