Maxim Zavet is a Toronto lawyer and businessman who is the co-founder and CEO of Kindcann.
Zavet started the LP process over two years ago and despite good reviews from Health Canada regarding, security measures, production practices, packaging, labeling, shipping and record-keeping, it has still been two weeks since Zavet last heard from the bureau.
“We’re waiting with bated breath, hoping to hear something soon,” Zavet told the Paris Star
The pre-licence inspection also involves having Health Canada approve security clearances on key personnel. Zavet acknowledged that his legal experience has helped him work through the bureaucratic process of becoming an LP.
