Authorities from the Sidney North Saanich RCMP said they searched the shop, seizing items, with charges pending
In a statement posted on the shop’s Facebook page, representatives from the dispensary confirmed the raid had taken place and apologized to patients impacted.
“Your legal constitutional right to choose cannabis as medicine has been temporarily interrupted,” the statement read. “If patients and local residents are displeased with this use of their public resources, they can contact the Mayor, Council and local RCMP to respectfully voice that displeasure.”
