Cleaning dabs off your clothes
You pick up a dab with a freshly used tool. In a split second, it melts and drops right onto your pants. Now, you’re stuck with a gnarly stain. What are you going to do?
When it comes to cleaning dabs off your clothes, Everybody has their own technique:
- Melt the dab with a blow dryer and blot the fabric with parchment paper.
- Use isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush to break up the dab.
- Throw it out.
- Leave it alone because it lives there now.
There’s another way…Dab Drops are a two-step cleaning solution made to remove the dabs from your clothes. Meant to be used as a pre-wash treatment; step one dissolves the stuck-on dab and step two breaks up fabric stains.

A kit can cost anywhere from 20 to 30 bucks online. According to the manufacturer, each bottle is good for fifty stains; then again, that depends on the size of your dabs.
Keeping your smoking device fresh
Part of being an adult is learning to take care of your things and keep them clean; This is especially true for your smoking device. Keeping it fresh not only adds to the experience but also prevents smelly disasters… If you’ve ever spilled old bong water, you know what I’m talking about.
Claiming weed on your taxes
If you live in Canada and use cannabis as medicine, you can claim it on your income taxes… even if you didn’t buy it from a medically licensed producer (LP)… yes… you read that right and you can do it. However, you should know a few things first:
- Be prepared to defend your claims – Depending on the amount you claim and if they feel it’s worth it, the CRA may contact you for more information. Let them know that you are unable to access cannabis from an LP and explain the benefit of the product you claimed.
- Save receipts – In order to claim cannabis on your income taxes, you need a receipt for every purchase. From now on, whenever you buy weed, save the receipt. If you are using the black market, assign your dealer an alias and write the receipt yourself.
Hacking your high
Control the intensity of your cannabis experience by adding compounds like CBD. For many people, cannabidiol (CBD) reduces the psychoactive effects associated with THC. However, there are those who find that CBD does the opposite; it intensifies the effects of THC. Depending on what you are looking for and how your system works, you can tailor your experience using chemistry. Figuring out the cannabinoids you need can take a bit of trial and error but thanks to the availability of lab testing, you’ll be able to tell exactly what you’re using.
