Two masked robbers entered Green Buddha Medicinals last Sunday. One of the robbers pointed a loaded handgun at an employee and demanded products and cash. The other assailant carried a large hockey bag, in which they loaded stolen goods.

However, the employee was able to escape through the front entrance. and proceeded to lock the two suspects inside the dispensary before calling police. The two attempted to shoot their way free before police arrive.

Toronto police arrested Abdullahi Dirie, 19, and an unnamed 17-year-old boy on the scene for the attempted robbery.
