“The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests in a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation,” police wrote, in a press release. “On Thursday, September 15, 2016, at approximately 3:25 p.m., officers from the 11 Division Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant at THC 416, at 1506 Dundas Street West.”
Two Toronto men, Daniel DeBeer and Tom Van Nguyen were arrested and jointly charged with possession of a schedule II substance, possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
The raid against the location is the second action taken by police, after The Healing Center saw similar raids earlier in August, where three arrests were made.
Both men will appear in court Sep. 16.
This is the latest police raid in Toronto, where police have made it no secret they will continue to target the operations.
