843 Pounds Of Cannabis Found In Man’s Truck In Markham

Cannabis arrests continue to happen on a daily basis, which has upset many voters who expected legalization to happen quicker after electing Trudeau. An estimate was made which concluded that one Canadian gets charged with cannabis every nine minutes.

A man in Markham was arrested after OPP found 843 pounds of cannabis in his truck. Xing Dong, 41 years old, was pulled over in the McDowell Road West area where his truck was searched and the large quantity of cannabis was found.

Many people in the cannabis community were expecting to hear promising news in the release of the federal budget yesterday, but there was basically no mention of actual plans for legalization. This leaves many in the cannabis movement wondering when legalization will finally happen.
