At six years old, Hayley Rose was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), a rare and severe form of epilepsy that can cause multiple daily seizures– even when she’s asleep.
Fast forward 20 years later, and LGS still has a profound impact on her life. She still gets seizures regularly, despite doing everything she possibly can to manage them, which means taking a litany of medications, vitamins, and supplements. She’s even on the Keto Diet (high fat, low carb diet), which has helped reduce her seizures significantly, and she also vapes cannabis medically as well.
Hayley’s strength and resilience in the face of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome is an inspiration to us all. She recently celebrated her 26th birthday on April 11th, and everyone at CLN would like to take the chance to wish her a very happy birthday.
