Edmonton’s MACROS is hoping to raise funds to cover legal costs as the dispensary goes through a legal battle after being raided by police.
The Edmonton fundraiser takes place Nov. 20 at 6pm where guests will have dinner and discuss the cannabis community in Alberta with guest speakers and a raffle.
Admission is $20 (or $25 at the door) all proceeds going to the MACROS defence fund. There are only 40 seats available, so those interested are encouraged to go to MACROS at 4121 118 Ave to buy tickets or buy online by emailing macrosdonations@gmail.com.
Another fundraising event is planned for December.
