New Music Fridays: Diplo, Chris Lake, Habstrakt, and AC Slater.

Congratulations on making it to the end of the week, as a gift to you we are presenting you with this week’s top picks of new music. This week features a full house music highlight with Diplo, Chris Lake, Habstrakt, and AC Slater.

Turn Back Time – Diplo & Sonny Fodera

Our first musical pick for this week is Diplo’s collab single with Sonny Fodera. This music track marks their first project together with a beautifully orchestrated deep house track. The vocals feature a female voice singing about the longing for an old lover. The line ‘turn back time’ gets used to compliment the drop for a super vibey music track that would pair well with long night drives.

The Answer – Chris Lake

Our next choice for this week’s tops music tracks is by the legendary house producer Chris Lake. His collaborative efforts with Armand Van Helden yield a high energy club banger. One thing to note is the lead in the drop which gives the music track its energy. One can only wonder how this music track would have done at a festival set.

Gotta Be – Habstrakt

Straying away from his usual sound, Habstrakt starts taking inspiration from tech-house in this music track. This genre has been blowing up in the past year it would make sense that a DJ like Habstrakt would catch the ripple of the genre’s influence. The long progressing synths indicate his character in the song. Overall this song has got everything it needs to get you moving.

Stand Up (VIP Mix) – AC Slater

5 months after the Original, AC Slater delivers a VOP Mix of his song Stand Up. The founder and king of Night Bass come in heavy with this track. The track features the choppier version of the original sound. In addition, Slater chops up the vocals to create a hypnotic vocal pairing to the dynamic track.

And those are our picks for this week’s New Music Fridays. We hope that these tracks have you dancing all throughout the weekend. Let us know in the comments below what else you will be jamming to this weekend.
