New Music Fridays: Juice WRLD, 24kGoldn, Lil Baby, and Jany Green

Congratulations, you’ve made it to the last month of 2020. It’s been a long and winding year but one thing you can always rely on is new music on Fridays. Check out our picks for this week including songs from Juice WRLD, 24kGoldn, Lil Baby, and Jany Green.

Real Shit – Juice WRLD & Benny Blanco

This track is a true testament to Juice WRLDs skill from the start. This song was one of the first tracks that he ever collaborated with Benny Blanco on. Despite being made a few years ago, it really holds the Juice WRLD sound showing his loyalty and consistency to his music. The track features a catchy hook over crisp trap drums, the recipe to any hip hop banger.

Coco – 24kGoldn ft. DaBaby

It has been an explosive year for the XXL freshman, 24kGoldn. A mix between punk-pop and hip hop, the fusion of genres has hit hard in the TikTok realm. In addition, with DaBaby as the feature, it seems like 24kGoldn has a recipe for success for any track he releases. The fast-paced beat along with the memorable hook will have you nodding your head.

Errybody – Lil Baby

On this track, Lil Baby boasts about his status and success, a staple of the rap game today. Paired with the track comes a video that looks like it could be in a James Bond film. He uses the chopper in the video to symbolize that he is ‘flyer than errybody’. The skittery, high hats and piano loop create a sense of urgency, pairing with the music video well.

Move – Jany Green

Unlike the other tracks, Jany Green takes on a more acoustic approach on this beat. Influenced by funk and pop, Green skillfully mixes singing and rap into this tune. In the song, Green is trying to woe someone, persuading them that he is able to make them move with his being. A great track overall and definitely worth a listen to while jamming at home.
