Cannabis Life Network at Toronto Cannabis Culture

Cannabis Life Network‘s Alana Kindree visited the new Toronto location of Cannabis Culture to talk to staff working at the dispensary.

Manager Tyler said he’s been in Toronto for two weeks and has worked 158 hours ahead of the store opening.

“I love my job, it just helps people,” he said. “In Vancouver we do medicine, like medicinal, here we’re doing  [recreational] but the majority of people need this for everyday pain and aches to just a variety of things and it’s great.”

The opening of the new shop comes during the Toronto police‘s raid of over 40 dispensaries in what authorities called “Project Claudia.”

“A lot of dispensary owners they’re being made out to seem like they’re all in it for the cash, they want to make a quick buck and stuff like that, but I think people just really want to do something that they feel passionate about,” said Cannabis Culture co-manager Erin Goodwin.

Goodwin said the response to the shop has been over overwhelming and hopes that attacks on dispensaries from police will come to an end with legalization.

Cannabis Culture now has two locations in Toronto, this one at 801 Queen Street West and another at  711 Queen Street East.
