Medicinal Cannabis Tip With Budzilla — Suppositories

Watch this new video from Cannabis in Canada showing Rejean Houle from Budzilla (and his mother) explaining the benefits and process of using cannabis suppositories.

“When you use suppositories you get about 70 per cent absorption rate because it goes directly into your blood, as opposed to having to smoke it which you would get 25 per cent of the effect from,” Houle explains.

Houle shows the simple method of how cannabis infused coconut oil, which is solid at room temperature, is melted and then poured into moulds, then refrigerated and ready to use.

“I would compare it to, sort of like, an edibles effect,” said Houle of the benefits of using the suppository method. “So you’re looking at typically between four and eight hours of pain relief.”
