Today, Jun. 1st, we’d like to wish our friends over at MMJ Canada a very happy birthday! Can you believe it’s been 5 years since MMJ Canada opened its first store in Vancouver, BC? So much has happened since then!
MMJ Canada has become one of Canada’s leading medical dispensaries and they’ve expanded from their humble beginnings to three stores in Vancouver and five in Ontario (three in Hamilton and two in Toronto)- but that’s just the start. In January of this year, MMJ Canada got approval for five locations in Alberta as well!
Today is a big day for the company, and MMJ Canada CEO Clint Younge took the chance to thank his team on social media, saying,
“Today MMJ Canada is 5 years old, it has been an amazing ride and we are all excited for legalization. Thank you to everyone who has stood by us and believed in us since day one and thank you all patients who continuously support us.
I wanted to take a moment to thank my staff, Shawn Dang my CFO has done an amazing job righting MMJ Canada’s back end and with out him we would be lost and I am lucky to call him a partner.
Aaron Sinnathamby my C.O.O has been the operational leader since day one and he is one of the beating hearts of our company and he is my other half to MMJ Canada.
Deirdre is the head of our new HR department and she protects every single one of us at MMJ Canada at all costs, she is the company’s angel to say the least and I thank her so much for that.
And lastly, thank you to all my ground level staff who on a daily basis fight for my vision and stand strong for me, from Vancouver to Hamilton I am truly blessed as a leader to have the team I have. To another 25 years together, thanks again. #mmjcanada #thankyou“
