French toast is one of those simple recipes that you simply can’t get enough of. For today’s recipe, we’ll be putting a seasonal cannabis spin on classic french toast breakfast. Welcome back to another segment of Cooking With Cannabis 101. This week we’ll cover how to make pumpkin spice french toast using infused pumpkin butter.
First things first, we’ll start by making the pumpkin pie spice. You’ll need the following things:
- All Spice
Ingredients needed to make Pumpkin Spice French Toast:
- 4 Eggs
- 2/3 Cup of Cannabis-Infused Heavy Cream
- 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp Pumpkin Spice
- Your Choice of Bread
In a medium-sized bowl add all of your ingredients (except the bread) and mix well until fully incorporated. Now heat your skillet to medium heat and melt some butter. Dip your bread into the mixture and fry them until golden brown. After you are done with toasting the bread, the next step will be making the topping. Though you can eat the french toast as such too the whipped cream topping will make it more delicious and festive.
Here’s what you’ll need for the whipped pumpkin butter:
- 1/2 Cup Cannabis Butter
- 1/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 3 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/3 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
Add all of the ingredients together and use a food processor to blend them well until they’re well incorporated. Once that’s done, simply top your already cooked french toast and enjoy the delicious recipe!
