Check out Craig Ex’s interview with Berner, the Bay Area canna-businessman and rapper, as they talk about the launch of his Cookies brand, the new products you can look forward to from the Cookies Fam, and Berner’s upcoming album, The Big Pescado.
As one of the driving forces behind Cookies, Berner is part of the Cookies Fam who are world-famous for creating strains like “Girl Scout Cookies” and “Sunset Sherbet”, and he was at the 2017 Emerald Cup at Cookies’ first ever standalone booth. Berner told Craig about some of the new strains and extracts that Cookies is dropping as never-seen-before products like the Lemoncello strain and London Pound Cake extract were selling like crazy.
Craig also asked Berner about his Scott Storch-produced album coming out in January, called The Big Pescado (which means ‘big fish’), and how it’s going to take his music to the next level. There’s a ton of features from some of rap’s biggest names, and he even tells Craig about a few, which includes The Game, Pusha T, E-40, Too Short, and Wiz Khalifa. You’ll also find out how the album’s cover art came to be (where Berner’s face is drawn using Cookie’s Lemoncello strain), and Berner also addresses the rumours saying that this album could be his last.
