The MMJ Canada dispensary in Hamilton was raided by police earlier today, with charges pending.
A representative of MMJ Canada detailed the event and said Hamilton police requested MMJ Canada CEO Clint Younge’s presence during the raid.
“What could have been a terrible experience was anything but as Hamilton Police were polite, cordial and peaceful,” the representative said, through Facebook messenger. “All staff were asked to go home and allowed to leave on their own accord.
“We can’t thank the officers involved enough for treating our employees and Clint so well and with so much respect. We look forward to the day we can be on the same side of this thing.”
More dispensary raids. This time in Hamilton. So depressing that people continue to be arrested for cannabis offences. Barbaric, really.
