Since cannabis is legalized, and apart of our modern world, it’s about damn time we have more variety with our tools! Using a generic glass pipe with a pot leaf printed on it does the job, but why not have a beautiful crystal pipe if that’s what you’re in to!
Emily Leung started the cannabis accessory brand Ohai in 2018 because she wanted to create cannabis tools that were a little more aesthetically pleasing than the ones you may find at your local bong shop. The stigma of smoking “weed” is fading away as more and more as people are becoming more familiar with all the health benefits from the plant. Many smoke cannabis to help calm anxiety, for pain relief, treat depression, and more. With so many different types of people opening up to the use of cannabis, there is a huge market for unique accessories.
What was purchased?
With the urge to shop online, and the desire to support small businesses, I decided to check out Ohai for myself. I am more of a recreational smoker – I enjoy the occasional joint – so I decided to purchase a joint ring. I have never seen anything quite like it!
I ordered the product late on April 28th and instantly received my order confirmation. Less than 12 hours later, I received a follow-up email that my order was on the way! Oh, and the shipping was free! But, there was a promo going on for that.
OHAI Special delivery!
With everything happening in the world, I did not expect to receive my package anytime soon. But, to my surprise, I received a delivery on the morning of May 11th! In a matter of 7 business days, my order went across the entire country; from Vancouver, BC to Newfoundland!
As a detail-oriented person, I was very impressed by all the little intricacies incorporated in their unboxing experience. For starters, the packaging was rose gold… I loved it before I even opened it! Then, inside I noticed that not only did my joint ring come in its own perfect little box, but it was in a little clear case with other goodies.
Inside the package: Clear Ohai reusable bag, 2 packages of papers (smart!), a cute sticker, and a hand-written thank you note from Emily herself!
