It’s that time of year again, where stoners across the globe gather to celebrate all things cannabis. Whether or not you’re commemorating this year’s 420 from your own home, there’s no reason to cut back on your celebration.

Although we all yearn for the day we can crowd back into a packed venue to rejoice with friends, the puff-puff-passing can be put on hold this year without sacrificing any joy–or cannabis.

As an alternative for your festivities this year, indulge in our 3-course 420 cannabis feast, including cannabis-bruschetta, steak with cannabis-gorgonzola sauce. and to top it all off some rosin vanilla ice cream.

420 Cannabis Feast- First Course

Cannabis-infused bruschetta

  • 2 cups of Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons of basil, chopped
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons of red onion, minced
  • 60ml of olive oil (w/ your dosage of cannabis oil)
  • 1 baguette (or homemade focaccia)

To start off your 420 cannabis feast, a proper hors d’oeuvre is in order. If you’d like to save some time for this recipe, purchase a baguette (or bread of preference), but choosing to bake your own will surely be rewarding. In a large mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, basil, garlic, and red onion.

After mixing until combined, add a few pinches of kosher sea salt. Next, directly add in your cannabis oil, dosing to your preference. In this recipe, we used a 20mg dosage of THC. Finally, add in your olive oil and once again mix until combined. Prepare your bread by heating it in the oven, slicing it, and smothering it with your prepared cannabis-infused bruschetta.

The Second Course to Celebrate 420

Steak w/ cannabis gorgonzola cream sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of onion, minced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of white wine
  • 2 cups cannabis-infused heavy cream
  • 4 oz gorgonzola cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 steak cut of choice, cooked to preference

Begin by sauteeing the onions in a saucepan with some butter, salt, and pepper. Once the onions become translucent, add in the garlic. After around 30 seconds, until the garlic becomes fragrant, deglaze the pan with your white wine. Pour in the heavy cream, and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Once the sauce has reached sufficient heat, add in the gorgonzola cheese, and let reduce by one third on medium-low. Once reduced, the cream sauce is ready to be applied to your steak, chicken, or anything else you’d like to taste delicious. Enjoy this delicious meal while celebrating 420 at home.

The Third Course

Hash Rosin Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 3 grams of rosin
  • 2 cups of heavy cream, divided
  • 2 cups of half & half
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

This dessert will make your 420 celebration special.We begin this recipe by making rosin infused cream, to later be incorporated into the ice cream mixture. Drop the rosin into a mason jar filled with one cup of heavy cream. Place the jar in a sous-vide at 160°F for two hours (or an oven for the same temp/time).

Once cooled, add your rosin cream along with the rest of the heavy cream and the half & half into a large mixing bowl. Add in the sugar and vanilla extract, whisking until homogenous. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer, stirring or shaking every one to two hours for 24 hours. After a full day of freezing, your hash rosin vanilla ice cream is ready to go!
