With everything that’s been happening in the cannabis industry lately, you might be wishing there was a Cannabis 101 class.
Perhaps you’ve always been curious about cannabis, and now that it’s legal, you want to give it a shot. Or maybe it’s been a few years (or even decades) since the last time you smoked pot, and you want to see how much things have really changed since legalization.
Whatever your interest in cannabis, the Cannabis 101: Essential Information for the new Canadian Reality event on June 22 in downtown Vancouver was created to answer all of your burning cannabis questions.
With a speaker list full of leading cannabis experts and activists, you’ll get the inside scoop on all aspects of the plant and industry- you’ll learn about cannabis law, the retail environment, the huge variety of products, how to grow up to 4 plants, the different methods of intake, the relationship between cannabis and spirituality, and so much more.
Speakers include Dennis McKenna, the CEO and President of Symbio Life Sciences; Dana Larsen, a high profile cannabis advocate and co-founder of the Vancouver Seed Bank; cannabis lawyer Robert W.E. Laurie; and Dori Dempster, the executive director of one of Vancouver’s oldest dispensaries, The Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary.
You’ll even get tips on how to talk about cannabis with those that matter most- like your kids, parents, and friends. According to the Cannabis 101 website, “the day will wrap up with an experiential Cannabis Ceremony lead by Vancouver’s very own Cannabis and Spirituality expert, Stephen Gray”.
