New Music Friday: 21 Savage & Metro Boomin, Louis the Child, and YG

What better way to start off your Friday than with new music? This week’s new music Friday features 21 Savage & Metro Boomin, Louis the Child, and YG.

21 Savage, Metro Boomin – Runnin

The dynamic duo is back just in time for their dark and grimy sound to hit the charts during this Halloween season. The two were known for having hard-hitting hip hop beats. 21 Savage brings his heavy flows over Metro’s iconic hip hop sound to create the vibes on this spooky track. Although the beat is fast-paced, 21 can keep up with crisp vocals, denoting that he can ‘run’ with the track.

Louis the Child – Keep Moving

3 years after their “Candy” mixtape, Louis the Child is back with another collection that shows the diversity in their style; CANDY 2. The single Keep Moving is a house banger that incorporates their signature sound, ensuring that you’ll have your head bopping to this beat. HOWEVER, this is only one of the sounds of their 19 track beat tape, who knows what else they’ll have in store.

YG, Lil Wayne, D3szn – Blood Walk

YG comes through on this track with rap legend Lil Wayne and D3szn. The beat features a mischievous guitar sample that is reminiscent of YG’s hit track ‘Go Loko’. Paired with YG’s aggressive verse, D3szn memorable chorus and, Lil Wayne’s distinguishable flow, the track comes together to create a modern-day banger.

Bryston Tiller, Drake – Outta Time

Bryson Tiller, the man who coined the Trap Soul sound, has come back with his luscious beats. This time however he is accompanied by the softer side of Drake. The two beautifully narrate the struggles of being in love with a toxic lover and the challenges that they face creating beautiful lyrics over a melancholic RNB beat.

We hope that you carry these tracks into the weekend. Let us know what else you’ll be listening to.
