New Music Fridays

New Music Fridays our Top Picks for new music releases from the past week.

#1 Limbo – Aminé’s Music Album

Aminé’s third music album is quite possibly his best, if nothing less it lives up to everything he’s made before. This music album has a new vibe though, it feels like an OG hip hop album, similar something that JZ, Kanye, or Drake would make but with an Aminé  twist. This music album features some of the best production to ever be on an Amine project, not to mention features from Vince Staples, Slowthai, Jid, and more. Some tracks go supper hard while others are incredibly vibey, he’s struck the perfect balance between the two on Limbo.

#2 Dreamland – Music Album Glass Animals

Dreamland Glass Animal’s much-awaited quarantine album is here; A 12 track album of some of the best Glass Animal’s songs to date. The band is truly progressing into new territory with this music album, having foregone their former style of abstract and experimental music to chill out to. This Album is pop music through and through, its catchy and has lots of bounce. This is not a bad thing, it still carries all the same Glass Animals funk and sway, but in an easy-listening package with broad appeal.

#3 Daylight – Joji / Diplo pop track

A groovy single made by two funky dudes, Joji and Diplo have teamed up to create this shimmery pop track, accompanied by a hilarious video that’s definitely worth a watch. (With a teaser for Joji’s new album Nectar at the end)

# 4 Blind – Da Baby ft. Young Thug

Following the success of Da Baby’s “Rock Star“, this rockstar is keeping the trend going with this supper melodic trap hit, that’s perfect for cruising with the windows down during this final month of summer.

#5 WAP – Cardi B ft. Megan The Stallion

A perfect combo, Cardi B and Megan The Stallion have teamed up to create this iconic track. Their vocals complementing each other perfectly throughout on this song giving “WAP” all the hard-hitting bad bitch energy that could fit on one track. It’s then amplified by the supreme abilities of Colin Tilley, the mastermind behind the music video for Wap, which has over amazed an impressive 50 Million views in its first two days.

Well, those have been our picks for New Music Friday, Let us know what tracks we missed this week we would love to hear your thoughts.
