3rd annual Fore20 Cup Recap

The recap for the 3rd annual Fore20 Cup is finally here! It was a day full of much love, community, cannabis and all around good times.

Join host Craig Ex aka The Expert of Expert Joints at the gorgeous Squamish Valley Golf Club where the grass is always greener, except maybe when it comes to what’s in the joints!

As usual, the famous Dab Carts are back and Craig catches Scotty from Skunk and Panda Extracts in the driver’s seat and Don Briere from WEEDS in mid-dab but it’s all good as everyone’s having a great time and the golf hasn’t even started yet!

Craig then talks to Neil Magnuson from the Cannabis Substitution Project. Twice a week he’s down at VANDU (Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users) at 380 East Hastings giving out care packages containing 4-6 edibles and a few joints to hundreds of people to help “offset the use of street drugs”.

Kush Queen (@mzkushqueen420) takes the mic and a golf cart to show us around Fore20 and the course. The first people she stops is the “official syrup cart” brought to you by our friends at Thompson Caribou Concentrates. She gets served up a nice cup of cherry-lime syrup mixed with Sprite and it’s instant love.

Craig also says hi to the Thompson Caribou Squad and he points out how the syrup cart is a new addition for this year as the squad serves up that syrup round after round.

This Fore20, all the golf spots sold out and there were a ton of vendors at the market- what can we say, the organizers, the Cannabis Growers of Canada, sure know how to have “fine and faded fun times on the fairway”.

The Liberty Farms Dab Cart with Chad and Tania.

Craig chats to Chad and Tania Jackett, the happily married couple behind Liberty Farms who helped organize Fore20, and master grower Chad had a message for the government:“

Stop trying to monopolize the industry and stop trying to confuse everybody by relabelling cannabis as non-medicinal and recreational so that we can all use our medicinal herbs peacefully”.

Amen, brother.

Liberty Farms is hiring growers by the way, so if you live in the Whistler area and have your own transportation, email tania@libertyfarms.ca.

The golf carts eagerly awaited tee off. Get ready, set, go!

Insurance provider Jones Brown once again sponsored Fore20’s Hole-in-One competition where $20,000 was up for grabs! Leslie from Jones Brown was kind enough to explain the rules of play to Craig- you get one shot (one opportunity) with no do-overs or mulligans.

Craig then finds the Liberty Farms tent where he’s only got one thing on his mind- Lindsay OG, which is one of his fave strains. He runs up, grabs it, and jets off in his cart. It was the perfect heist.

That was only a highlight from the recap because so much more happens! Make sure to hit play on the video and find out for yourself why the Fore2o Cup is one of BC’s fastest growing cannabis events. If you went this year, maybe you’ll spot yourself in some of the footage, and if you didn’t go, this is what you missed out on! Not to worry though, there’s always next year!

Also, let’s thank all of the wonderful sponsors- without them, the Fore20 Cup wouldn’t be possible. The full list of sponsors in below.
