The Karma Cup is coming up fast on Sept. 8-9, 2018 in the heart of downtown Toronto- that means it’s only one day away! Have you got your tickets yet?
Many of Canada’s best craft cannabis growers will be in attendance at the 5th annual Karma Cup and you don’t even need a medical card, so come out for one of the biggest cannabis industry nights in the country. It’s a great place to learn more about the community of people who make it happen and even do a little networking.
In addition to being allowed to medicate in exhibit, vendor, and festival areas, there’s the elite Karma Cup competition that everyone always looks forward to with the award ceremony happening on Sunday.
With over 2 acres of festival space, the Karma Cup will be an action-packed weekend full of music, speakers, and glass blowing where you can also explore the Canadian Glass Marketplace, a Homegrown Urban Art Show, a Vendor Village, and a ton of exhibitors. If you get the munchies, there are plenty of food trucks ready for you too.
As judge and Karma Cup host Craig Ex aka The Expert of Expert Joints told CLN:
“There was 130 items to go through including flower, extracts, topicals, edibles, and more with around 15 different categories.
I managed to get through pretty much all of it in three or four days!”
Of course, the judging is done blind, with only numbers to differentiate between the samples to prevent bias, but Craig told us that his favourite flower sample was “indica no. 8” and that he “enjoyed some good CBD products as well.”
This Karma Cup will also be historic as the last Karma Cup before legalization and Craig told us that event organizer Sarah Sunday has some special plans in mind.
