Craig Ex on launching new podcast at Save On Meats’ radio station

Craig Ex aka The Expert of Expert Joints has joined forces with Save On Radio for a new show every Friday from 2-4 PM.

Save On Radio is a new digital station broadcasting straight from the famous Save On Meats butcher shop, serving up fresh cuts of audio pleasure and giving the mic to the unheard voices of Vancouver.

CLN caught up with Craig right before he left for Spannabis to talk about it his plans for this new venture.

Please tell me about your new radio show with Save On Meats and how that came to be?

Sure. We’re going to be on Fridays from 2-4 pm on Save on Radio’s podcast, and it all came about because the program director at Save On Radio, Jay Swing, is an old friend of mine.

They were looking for a cannabis show, and because Jay Swing and I have known each other for over 15+ years, he knows that I’m The Expert, so I was his first call.

What’s the show called and what day and time can we catch you on air?

As we start, we’re going with the Expert Joints LIVE! Podcast. Basically, the show at this point is going to be a replay of the audio of my Thursday show.

As we move forward, I do plan to break up some of the segments of the show and do some new live material in-between. I’ll probably end up doing some new material, play some music, and maybe have some other guests, along with clips and interviews from Thursday.

It will continue to evolve and for the first little while, we’ll be running the audio of the Thursday show.

When you start branching out with new guests and music, will you be broadcasting from Save On Meats?

That’s the plan at this point, but obviously, we’ll see how that continues to go. In fact, you can’t smoke inside at Save On Meats but that’s the way it seems to be going at the moment.

Anything else you’d like to add about the new Expert Joints LIVE! Podcast on Save On Meats radio?

It’s an extension and growth of Expert Joints LIVE! and it’s great to have another outlet. The podcast arena is a big one and I’ve been trying to think of a way to get in and create some new content.

Shout outs to Jay Swing and Mark Brand and everyone down at Save On Meats. I’m looking forward to the opportunity and the growth and development of this moving forward.
